Would This Be Ethical?

So, I always hated P2W Games, and any Games where who pays gets better things than those who don’t, and I understand they need to make some money, so I though if this:
I make a Game, and I put a gun for example, and I make it you have to buy it with Robux, but either the gun is the 2nd most powerful and the most powerful is free, or you can get the same gun without money, much like Lumber Tycoon 2’s Build Gamepass thing

My question is:
Would this be ethical?

Personally, I despise of P2W games (as you said) and feel that giving players an advantage like that would be fine, since it isn’t the most powerful gun, and you can still get it without paying money. That being said, I would not add a ton of these types of guns to the game, if we look at some popular games on the website for example, Big Paintball, having stupidly expensive guns if you grind for them, but somewhat cheap if you purchase it with Robux, encouraging the quicker route of buying it with Robux. All in all, it is your game, and I recommend you do what you wish with what you think should be added.

Thanks, obviously because I don’t like P2W Games I will add maybe 2-3 of them over 15-20 guns, they will not be a lot of them obviously

What I would do is make players actually play the game to get the guns.

If you want to monetize though, you could sell skins, special effects and other cosmetics that do not give the player any sort of advantage.
Avoid lootbox systems though because some countries ban those type of games.

What I’d do is, winning a game rewards you with a crate from which you can get a random skin.
Crates cannot be bought in any way and can ONLY get them by playing and winning the game, rewarding the player for their skill and staying in the game.

However, if the player wishes to have an specific skin from said crate that has a very rare chance of getting, you could give players the option to buy those with robux.

Skins bought with robux however should not be trade-able if your game allows people to trade stuff.

This should be relatively safe since you cannot gamble with real money and also shouldn’t ban it from countries that do not allow lootboxes for money.
And it encourages players to actually play the game to get what they want, while earning from those who are too impatient and choose to buy it instead.

That’s actually a very good idea, I might actually implement that

ethics isnt really relevent for games, the players are playing because they want to. if they want to pay thats their choice, but ideally you shouldn’t make it p2w to the point that f2p players leave. buying guns is probably not a good idea if the point of the game is to get better guns. in that case it would be better to have 2x currency gamepasses to make the player keep grinding and paying, if they can just buy their way to completion you wont keep any long-term whales.

Thanks!
I wasn’t planning on making any of that, as I’m also a F2P Player and I don’t really like P2W Games

Thanks for the advice tho!
