Think of a game like flex your time alive sword fight but without the swords and when you die you get permabanned, no robux microtransactions or game passes of course and you risk your Roblox like life for points, like obbies and paintball duels. If you think permaban is too much I’ll just reset progress.
Keep in mind you would be actively blacklisting significant parts of your player base. This would kill any in game learning curve and any problem solving process, making the game difficult to enjoy.
If you search for games which have already done this you’ll see they aren’t very well received, and there could be a link between ban duration and player retention (meaning instant permabans might not be such a good idea).
(Not a callout - just an observation.)
Blacklisting would more than likely garner a negative reaction from visitors, unnecessarily strain the game’s growth and work against retention. It would be more enjoyable to just have progress reset anyway, so long as people can still play the game.
I think both are good options. Just make one game called hardcore where you get permabanned. and one called lite or sum where it will reset progress. This will lower the dislikes but you will still get a ton
I don’t really like the concept of these types of games. They’re low effort and empty.
You probably get max dislikes, no one know how to play a game at the first time, then second time, you get banned, no sense
