I’m considering putting a radio system into my game where players can use a radio to send out messages to the entire server, individual teams, or any teams they are allied with. Of course, I will have these messages go through ROBLOX’s filter before they are displayed to anyone else.
I would like to have the radio system function similar to what is seen in this game
The issue is, the game has a huge console playerbase; anywhere from a quarter to half (sometimes more) of the CCU at any given time are console players.
Is it still against ToS to have some sort of in-game text messaging system for console players? I remember that when you were turning on a game to be console-accessible for the first time, a message would pop up explaining the requirements for the game to be console-allowed, one of which said no in-game messaging systems - but this message does not pop up anymore.
If it is ToS, do I have to turn it off completely, aka console users cannot send or receive messages from this radio system, or could I have it so that console users can see messages sent but not send any out themselves?
