Would you play this? Don’t waste your time voting if you aren’t going to tell me why you WOULDN’T play.

TL:DR - You’re lost on an island, complete some quests, and go home.

Alright so I’m working on a game, ‘Lost in Paradise,’ (also don’t try to steal my idea, it’s copyrighted ;)) and the basic idea is it’s a story game where you are lost on a tropical island after your cruise ship sinks, you meet a man native to the island (Gypsy Islands) called Vermin. Vermin helps you learn how to survive on the island, trade, and build your shelter. Eventually, after doing quests for people around the island, they help you get off by building a boat. It then cuts to the game credits, and you’re forced to restart the storyline.

Update: I’ve been working hard to make the game more action-packed. I didn’t want to leak much, but there’s a certain quest/mission in the game where you go into a cave in attempt to find a rare stone, and you set off a trap. After setting off the trap, welcome to Chapter 2! The island people helped you out of the cave and gave you a place to sleep. The islands had an earthquake, destroying your previous shelter and the bridge between the Gypsy Islands. In return for helping you, you repair their bridge.

Here’s the icon of the game too.

Doesn’t sound quite fulfilling in my opinion. It’s a story game, but there’s not much story. It’s just quests. And, after doing all the hard work completing the tasks, you get nothing except a credit scene. At least it isn’t a bad ending. I don’t know, I’m just judging this based on the other Story Games I’ve seen. If there’s a linear gameplay with little to no interaction with the universe or substance then I don’t think I’ll play it.

I personally love this idea! Its a bit like Subnautica, how you are deserted and have to escape, but with its own twist! Truly seems fun to play if done right. Also, do you need developers or is this a solo project?

It’s a solo project but some help in certain areas would be great

you interact alot with the island people and some other stuff

Overall, the concept is great. I do want to make one suggestion though.

If you haven’t already, make an ending that will make an impact, or something that isn’t ending with you just leaving and nothing else.

How would I make an ending that leaves an impact? (I need ideas)

I might take a look at your game, but the name doesn’t appeal to me that much. Give it another special name. Take an example from “Madcity” or “Jailbreak”! That kind of name often attracts people! I’ll think of something like that! But don’t make it too difficult and make a matching name. I hope this will help you!

Like the ending of this one. Some sort of plot twist that gives a message or something. I don’t really have many ideas as I do not know the storyline.

I like it! A fun spin on most story games, as there is a Chapter 2!

It’s a nice idea though I personally wouldn’t play it because I’m not really into that genre of games on roblox.
