I’m gonna be honest it’s not fun at all, I’m just running around picking up orbs, I read what the game was about but i was still confused
I understand its a wip hopefully you can make that fun factor!
I’ll explain, I was just about to join you. Basically it’s a battling game, and those orbs? They’re protons and electrons. You level up and unlock new elements, going up the periodic table, and get more attacks to use. You can double jump and sprint, and in the future i’ll be adding teams!
It’s not finished, though, which is why it wasn’t fun, and there’s only two attacks in the shop.
I will also be adding reactions, death effects, and a whole lot more possibly in the future
Well im sorry to tell you but if the game isn’t fun now it doesnt matter what you add to it, it still wont be fun unless the foundation and core mechanic/gameplay is fun (which it isnt)
You’re right, I will be adding more core mechanics in the future, trust me. There will be alot of attacks. I might even add maps that change every five minutes, and boosts that you can find all over the map.
It’s supposed to be a very fast paced battle game. I’ll try to make it that way.
Its not about how many core mechanics you add it’s how fun they are to your player
For example old games like mario, all he did was jump and that was fun and felt good
I understand, it’s just that it’s unfinished and a work in progress, I’m only about 20 percent done, and that’s not even counting the attacks. This is safe to say, a big game. It’s not about just picking up orbs. half of time players probably won’t even be paying attention to that. They’ll be trying to kill each other to get their xp.
Have you tried going into the shop, and stats yet? Those are the only ones i’ve finished. I’m alos adding stamina in the future. Working on that.
Well there again that really doesnt set you apart from the rest of pvp games
The idea is unique but your execution is not good
I understand that, but that’s what I’m working on right now, trying to make the game unique. You don’t see games out there with people battling with chemistry, or on a small little 500 by 500 hundred map like this. Plus, this may sound kind of stupid, but due to the fact that we’re battling with chemistry, you can actually learn alot about it, since some attacks will react will other to form new chemical which can be dangerous OR good. It’ll be fun.
But everything else, like the bugs, those are just thing I need to fix, like every human scripter, there will be bugs, and I will be here to fix them.
Well I’m not the developer so I cant tell you what you can or cant do it is really up to you.
If you think the game will be fun with the current and future mechanics then go right ahead!

Thanks for the advice, I will try to make it more unique and try to set it apart from these other fighting games out there. I will also try to make better mechanics!
I’ve got an idea (take it however you want, add stuff, remove stuff, or just not use it at all). You know how you can light certain elements on fire and it creates a different coloured fire? You can make it so that there is a fire ability and you can unlock certain elements with a button on the side of your screen when you use the fire ability from the shop and it will use different fire colours and different ones will be more effective. Or you can make it so that after you unlock a certain element, there is an ability that you have to unlock to access lighting that element on fire.
