Would you recommend me making a cooking game & group?

Hey developers! Recently, I was wondering if making a cooking game on the ROBLOX Platform would be:

  • Good for new players and even experienced players playing the game.
  • Should I worry about how they can be rude and exploit as many games have exploiters and rude persons and online dating.
  • Will they like a cooking game? Do they will like the work and not making it a bad work?

Please answer these questions for me, I really do not want to mess my project up! ^^

You can do a tutorial for new players and give them the option to skip it. For experienced players, make it so that the new players can get inspired by them. For example, if someone has a ruby spatula and a marble kitchen, then the new players should be inspired to be like that experienced one and continue grinding to get those things, and better!

There’s nothing you can do about rude people. People will be people, as much is it may suck. I don’t know much about exploits, so I can’t really tell you how to get rid of these people. Online dating is something you have to stick with, unless you want to make a custom chat filter filtering out words like “kiss” and “date” and other choice inappropriate words.

Different people enjoy different kinds of games. I imagine your playerbase would like a cooking game seeing as they chose to play yours. You can’t guarantee that someone is going to like your game. My advice is to include fun little minigames as work, so the players don’t get bored while playing.

Cooking games are probably going to draw in a younger audience, so don’t expect many exploiters or experienced players playing.

Exploiting can be dealt with if handled correctly. I suggest you do further research on RemoteEvents/Functions and preventing exploitation in multiplayer games to develop an understanding of how to achieve this.

I can’t answer the third question. It’s entirely subjective. Try looking at existing solutions to see how successful they are, what their strengths are and their weaknesses. This will help you learn from their experiences.

As long as there is a good tutorial.

You could hire a scripter like me who knows about game security who can create anti-exploits and secure remotes for exploiters, and add a custom filter that censors things like “hugs” “cute” “hot” and “

I could see a cooking game becoming popular; lots of cooking games already exist on the platform but have flaws in them that prevent growth.
