I’m infantrymvn and I own a game that goes by the name of Gun Testing , and I am looking to make the game fully compatible for console/controller users. Under the Content Agreement for enabling console players to join your game, one of the guidelines are that your game cannot contain “Intense Violence" and “Blood/Gore”.
The game is has a short-lived mist of blood and is centered around violence (its a FPS game) when a bullet hits a player but I’m wondering if this would disqualify it from being on Xbox.
Hey, there.
I believe this would be bypassing the regulations.
As in the official checklist it states “No blood / gore”, so I would presume this would be bypassing rules, however please do correct me if I am wrong.
Since the agreement literally says none, that is a definite no - this would not be allowed on the platform. The fact that the word none is even capitalised confirms there’s zero flexibility in these rules whatsoever; you won’t be able to include that.
If those games are allowed on Xbox then they would’ve toned down the violence completely for anybody playing on the console.
These aren’t Roblox’s rules; these are Xbox’s rules, so Roblox needs to ensure any game accessible to Xbox players complies with these guidelines, meaning there aren’t any special cases to bypass these rules in this scenario.
It doesn’t have blood, else it wouldn’t be accessible to console players.
The rules are taken so seriously to the point where you need to confirm an agreement. There isn’t a might or a maybe; there cannot be any blood on console games whatsoever.
