Upon opening the Roblox Xbox application and clicking the Robux icon, I am immediately booted off of the page and put back on the page I was on before.

In a previous thread the OP mentioned not being able to record on Xbox, but might not have known how to.

Back when I had an Xbox, I used the app on my phone and went from there. Though all you should need to do is change a privacy setting.

This is probably because if your Xbox account is set as a child . In the original Xbox app before they made it “modern”, using on Xbox account set as child and trying to go to the Robux screen would put text saying an error. So I think that is what happening, if it is they should make it so it brings you to Robux page but say it cannot purchase robux. But it doesn’t make sense since under 13 can purchase robux on all platforms. I not know if this is same for PlayStation.
I am not sure about that, because it says in the app my account is set to “teen” but I am not sure if that’s the same as child, but I am 13+.
Well I do know that was what happened with the original Xbox Roblox app. It might be the same. Maybe teen is also classifed as child
