I published an update to my game last night. Xbox session length dropped pretty much immediately. I reverted the update and the drop hasn’t recovered. The community has informed me that they get into the game, can’t control their tank, performance suffers, and the screen glitches out.
A significant amount of my players are seeing this. It clearly has nothing to do with the actual contents of the place file - it’s being caused by something that was changed just by me publishing the place.
This is very frustrating because I started a sponsored ad on xbox last night. Now I’m looking at 20k robux just being thrown away for no reason.

In the meantime you could try switching down to voxel lighting and seeing if that affects the issue. Would be better than losing out on the sponsored ad if you can mess with the lighting settings to mitigate the issue.
This bug has nothing to do with the contents of the place file. It’s currently reverted to what it was earlier this week, where there was no issues, but the issues persist.
Yes you said that much, but if Studio/Roblox has done something to automatically update something behind the scenes in the place file that is now causing this issue (which looks to be largely related to rendering), maybe you can mitigate the harm its causing by experimenting with rendering-related settings in the short-term. As far as I’ve seen, Roblox will probably not refund you, so mitigating the issue for now is all you can do.
This was a bug that shipped. We usually have a way to quickly revert the bug. But in this case it was not possible. The fix is on the way and should be out with next release.
I am sorry about it
in the meantime:
use voxel or shadowmap mode that should fix it for now.
