Yo! Help me fix my tool! It anchors me

I’m an experienced builder but I haven’t created a tool in like a year. lol… I thought it would be so simple but…

  • What are you attempting to achieve? (Keep it simple and clear)
I’m attempting to make a parachute.

  • What is the issue? (Keep it simple and clear - Include screenshots/videos/GIFs if possible)
Teleports player to tool pickup position when activated and anchors the player in place, upside down, head in ground, no matter where it’s activated from.

  • What solutions have you tried so far? (Have you searched for solutions through the Roblox Wiki yet?)
I adjusted the tool grips, I unanchored all parts and unions, I set the handle to CanCollide and not CanCollide, I set everything to massless and it works better but lol. that creates new problems.

You may then include any further details.

Oh I actually had this problem before! All you need to do is turn all your parts to massless coz right now their too heavy which is why you’re falling over. Hope this helps!

I added a WeldConstraint and a BodyVelocity to the chute to keep it upright and balance the weight. The strings are RodConstraints and that was a bad idea…lol…Massless = true, CanCollide = true. I’m still not happy with it…but it works.
