This may not be a bug, but you are able to post and use the developer forums while you are banned from the platform.

I don’t think this is a bug, as the roblox platform and the devforum are two different platforms.

Not really, it’s still roblox.com. Your devforum account is technically different from your Roblox account, which is why it’s like this, but this still could be a glitch since, let’s say, someone got banned for posting really bad content on Roblox, you wouldn’t want them accessing the forums either since they might post that bad content there.
It may depend on the extremity of the ban, I doubt telling someone to “Go away” would count, but this is the first instance where I’ve seen this so.

This has always been the case, even terminated users are able to use the DevForum.

That is true but what if you run into the issue where you the developer are falsely banned? the devforum might be your only resort to being unbanned since the appeals system isn’t always up to par.

They dont allow ban appeals/discussion about moderation in here for those kinds of stuff

These are two different account sessions. Even if they are the same account, they are not connected. The DevForum uses OAuth2 to login, just like other programs that may use it like Discord or Guilded. It wouldn’t make sense to globally ban those services from using your public account details.
The DevForum only uses your UserId (to confirm that it is you). It doesn’t need anything that is blocked when you are banned, such as viewing your recently played.
