This is happening in all ROBLOX games that use default chat.
If a message contains only spaces, it will send.
Im not 100% sure if this is a bug, but I dont see why you would want players to send an empty string.

This has been the case for several years, it isn’t that big of a deal but you could add an empty filter to the chat system.

Can confirm this is happening, seen many people abuse it or just randomly press enter and seeing this.
Although, it has been happening sometimes, but not for several years, first time seeing this for like a year or two.

It is a bit random though. Sometimes for me it will make an empty chat, sometimes no chat at all. It also happens with bubble chat as well, you just see a completely empty bubble.

Can confirm, there’s been an increase in this happening recently.
This bug has broken my admin commands i am creating. What i think is happening is that the enter key is actually somehow counted as an actual key. Although this is just my theory therefore i don’t know completely.

Agreed. This issue shouldn’t be that hard to resolve. Whether its on Roblox’s priorities at the moment, probably not.

I would just like to mention this bug has recently resurfaced so if any Engineers see this just a heads up.
I’m on Mac.
