"You cant leave this roblox game" Is it even possible? (Moved)

It just seems to be a very clickbaity thing that Youtubers do.

Now I know that a player can just exit a game through the many ways possible, but
I am curious as to whether it is even possible to keep a player in a game for longer than they would want.

And if you’re wondering, I don’t wanna try it myself, im just curious because nobody has asked this question, probably cuz it aint possible, and if someone was to search the question, they may see this.

I don’t think you can because if pressing the leave button doesn’t work you can always alt+f4 or use task manager.

Yeah just press the x on the corner of the tab, or u can press alt + f4

There is a way to keep someone in a Roblox game with some scripting knowledge, but this can be bypassed by Alt+F4.

I wouldn’t recommend doing this though as people will probably mass dislike your game since they can’t leave it.

it’s probably impossible to keep someone in the game who is on pc due to the several ways you can exit roblox, however it may be possible if the player is on a mobile device

Yes but this is a nightmare for mobile users, as they cant do alt+f4. One guy made such game called Piggy Obby and there was like 100 players in that game and the chat was filled with hate messages of mobile users. I dont have a link it it though, hopefully it got taken down.

A few years ago I was playing a game with my friend and then when he joined those copy and paste scam obby games. He could not leave it just kept on putting him back on the game. But you can always close Roblox and reenter the website.

roblox have taken the piggy obby game down, i’m sure there’s a lot more games that prevent you from leaving though

They can close the app though by clearing the Roblox app window or they can just turn off their phone.

On mobile (At least iPhone X) if you hit the home button you auto-leave the game.

besides what others have said, another option to escape roblox(windows only) is to press that windows key

Is possible, but alt+f4 and task manager allways can close the game with that systems.

Well, task manager exists, alt-f4, restarting ur pc, there are a bunch of different ways to leave a roblox game

I play on mobile and it’s quite easy lol. Just press the home button or open the tabs menu and close out of roblox.

But anywho, it’s not completely impossible to keep someone in your game, just easily bypassed.

Not something I would recommend anyone develop.

The real answer is
NO

you can’t Disable the leave button like Reset character do

You can’t stop them from quitting the game

You can’t do anything with the leave button

You can’t make a script to leave button

You can’t add cooldown to Leave button

You can’t add the timer before allowed

but you can get IP banned if you try to

There’s a video that the YouTuber Devoun made that showcased this problem, showing that you actually can disable the leave button with some clever teleporting.

Teleport service isn’t always instant. There’s a good chance they’ll manage to leave before it manages to teleport them back to the game. So even that’s not foolproof.

(theres always the X button or double clicking the home button on mobile, too)

He clearly edited the video
it’s not possible to disable it unless if it’s a real script or recorded in a raw footage

There is no timeline that he shows where he finds out that he can’t leave

It’s possible, but will likely get your game moderated even though it isn’t directly stated in the ToS. For people who aren’t tech savvy enough to know how to alt + f4, you can prevent them from leaving if they aren’t fast enough.

It’s not edited lol. Literally the owner scripted the game so that when the menu is opened, they’re teleported back into the game.

That’s definitely very possible
