They are on a pretty tight schedule and I would hate for them to be more rushed and leave us with an egg hunt like 2019.
Oh yeah of course it does. Im not saying im with them making a dev hunt because the last thing I want is a dev hunt. But it does seem like Roblox is planning on making one already and I just dont want them to make a hub like rp2.

Well the main area sorta was but I’m talking about the other hub area where you can collect the marvel eggs and there was actually a story. 2019 was Still not as good as 2018 but definitely better then 2020 though

I’m just saying, last year, some games were made just for Egg Hunt.
Last year, there was a game called portal adventures or time adventures or something, that was made only for the egg hunt.
If one is to make a game only for egg hunt, they need to know the genre of the egg hunt, and they only gave twenty one days from the release of the genre to the deadline.
Gotta admit kinda odd that the more details in mid janauary section was removed from the main post

Today is last day when we could apply our game for egg hunt and the day when i noticed this post, i did submit my game, but after reading most of the replies i found that at the line “Game ID” i was supposed to give a Universal ID, but i gave a Place ID of my game. Now when applications are closed i can’t resubmit it. Is it okay and if my game get accepted i can just provide id or i messed this years egg hunt?

Players just don’t want to engage in the game when all they want to do is find the egg. Games should really be looking for exposure through entertainers on Twitch and YouTube since YouTubers help focus on the game instead of some dumb egg.

If Roblox’s main purpose for these “dev” egg hunts is to instead of cram a ton of games into one egg hunt, centralize your egg hunt to one game and just shout out game through little “games of the week” on the main site. Game creators like me don’t ever apply for these because I know the common player will only stick around for the event and when they’ve competed their goal, they’ll never play again. (Unless in those rare cases where the game is so good and unique it sticks out from the others.)

I will say that portal game was in my opinion the only game I enjoyed in the egg hunt as it was unique, and gave me a feeling of 2017/18

Event Problems and conflicts like RB
There was a problem in the syne piggy game
(1) Key green, purple, blue text due to lack of players
(2) Players won’t help
(Events that can be acquired by yourself)

Oh.
It was pay-to-win at first, you had one life and had to redo the whole thing if you died on one of the obbies or anything. (After, Roblox made the game give players 3 lives (I think Roblox told them to)).
Unfortunately, you could only play that game for egg hunt, since it was only made for egg hunt. A few of the games in the egg hunt were good, so I continued playing them (Tower Defense, Treasure Quest).

Yeah, I had to redo the purple sword.
I had some friends help me, and then when we broke the wall, I touched the sword and it didn’t give me it no matter how much I touched it.
After I got with a group of other people, I told everyone to get off the sword so I could touch it, then touched it and it gave it to me. I guess you have to not have other people touching it.
Also, I’m pretty sure Robeats sword was pay to win, as getting the songs you needed required VIP or playing Robeats a lot.

Only one person was able to get the sword per run, and it was the person who clicked the buttons and picked up the small items around the map.
Unless of course you’re saying that you did all that and it just didn’t work which is possible. There were quite a few issues with things, and Piggy’s other RB badges was quite buggy for a while as well.
Regardless, I feel I should comment on this: the challenges won’t be as hard as the RB swords. The RB Battles event was something entirely different and the swords were meant to be a challenge. It took days of hunting across games and investigating vague hints to even discover the games that they were in, let alone how to actually unlock them. This is not the type of event that the Egg Hunt is; the eggs themselves will most likely be similar in difficulty to the RB Battles Challenge badges, not the swords.
