Here you can clearly see a daily budget of $20 is set and the ad is only set to run for 24 hours. You can also see on the left side that $40 in ad credits was spent. Looks like there’s all types of issues with the ad manager right now.

The budget is allocated based on auction dynamics, which means we cannot guarantee a linear pacing of the budget.
The daily budget is set for each calendar day, irrespective of the time duration within that day.

Regarding refunds, our policy does not permit reimbursements when the budget has been spent to deliver impressions or plays. We appreciate your understanding.
I understand this but it is literally impossible to properly sponsor when it dumps it all immediately. I’m not expecting linear pacing, it never has been that way from my previous uses. I am however expecting my entire budget to not be gone within the first hour. The data I get isn’t even accurate either, time of day can effect CTR and retention. I’d need to be able to have a flow of players throughout the day to get accurate metrics which is currently impossible when I cant get a sponsor to last longer than an hour.
This has happened 3 times in a row with the same game. Especially understanding that refunds are not possible the more I attempt to properly sponsor the more money I burn away. Maybe apply a percentage limit to how much of the budget can get spent every few hours or so?
I really want to be able to run sponsors on my current game but with the way the algorithm is handling it I am essentially just burning money every time I attempt to do so. This isn’t a one-off thing either or something that happens sometimes. It has consistently happened 3 times in a row.
It’s especially bad when you set a lifetime budget for 3 days and its completely gone immediately, like I said this is a consistent issue as well so its essentially impossible for me to set a lifetime budget currently. While I don’t want to, I am forced into a position where I cannot run sponsors until this is resolved. Please keep me updated if you can.

i remember getting 1500 players in 2020 with 200k robux sponsor on PC if i did that now i would get 50-70 players in the first 20 mins then dip back to 10 players😁
when sponsor changed to ad manager it became useless. spikes of players from 5-10 to 30 then back while wasting money. old sponsor system was always running rapidly

A month later I’ve gotten a new icon for my game and the issue has persisted. I literally cannot properly sponsor my game idk what I am expected to do.
It heavily effects the play rate and CTR. Theres no workarounds or solutions. This is something that needs to be fixed. No matter how many times I sponsor, what settings I use, how much I put in. It just all gets spent instantly.
Heres a solution! Try set your country list to only a few specific countries and platform only to 1 or 2 like mobile and tablet, or only pc. Basically you have to narrow down your audience, narrow down the age too, then look for the balance when it spends too slowly!
It should be noted that burning through your credit quickly is not strictly a bad thing. Burning through credit quickly gets lots of players in the game at the same time, therefore giving players plenty of other players to actually play and socialise with. Spreading your credit out evenly can make the experience a lonely one

I see that you’re doing daily budget instead of lifetime budget so can’t say about daily budget as I’ve only done lifetime budget. At first I’d set my max bid to 0.05 and yes the entire budget was spent very quickly then when I set the max mid to 0.01 AND set the end date to a month later my budget stopped being spent quickly.
For the last two, I put 50 Ad Credit with max bid to 0.01 (Sponsored Experience) BUT I did try with Portals today with the same settings and the budget was spent quickly, so pretty odd.

I did however, just by chance I think, manage to have 1 campaign that KIND OF worked as intended. It did spend a lot of money in short bursts but it didn’t spend the entire thing immediately. (It did spend $7 immediately out of the $28 though.)
I changed nothing except the budget. I usually spent $20 in this case I spent $28.
I don’t think the budget has anything to do with it though because I’ve had it all spent immediately with different budgets before as well. I think it was just luck.
It’s weird because I have tried everything except feeding the ads manager with more money. I just started another ad campaign for 20 ad credits total, 10 ad credits per day for two days. I got plays the first 1 hour and now my plays are at zero for the last 4 hours. My ad is still running and I will be charged 10 ad credits tomorrow as well. I’m glad the ads worked for you. not so much for me.
