A Good Payment?

I am planning on making a game sometime in the near future, but I can’t do it alone. I would like to hire a programmer(s), a builder(s), a thumbnail designer(s) maybe, and a composer(s) also maybe. I would like to know what a good payment would be for all of these jobs, and I would like it to be from things like gamepass sales because I only have 295 Robux. :expressionless:

I almost forgot to mention that I don’t have a group, so I would like to know if there is a way to pay Robux some other way. Also, I have another account and the game might be made on that.

You’d have to find someone with T-Shirts or you could try gamepasses because of the 70% unified fee.

I’d honestly say it isn’t enough, maybe try doing commissions. 295 is enough for a beginner gfx artist I’d say.

A programmer and a builder are the two things I need most. Would the game’s profits be enough for that? Also, I’m not that good at art so thanks for telling me! I’ll look into that.

Hola, yo soy conocido como (GAMER_ELGRANDE) y estoy interesado en crearte un mapa para tu juego. Me puedes contactar en discordia como: gamer_elgrande # 9493

well you should probably get 10$ worth of robux right now; but if not it will be hard but possible

  1. if you have that much robux, you need a group to do payouts; if you buy a gamepass or shirt from them they will get the robux, but there is a roblox fee. which will lead you to spending even more robux
  2. do commissions! figure out how to be good at something small and then get better at it; and make a portfolio to get some robux
  3. go into hidden developers or devforum and offer a 100 robux downpayment and then give them a percentage of the game (i always reccomend downpayments with percentage, no matter how small it helps)
  4. ask friends for help or befriend some developers
  5. don’t try getting super high quality people, if you have low robux take anyone you can that shows they can do their job; if you get high quality people you will learn this the hard way by spending all your robux

“Hello, I am known as (GAMER_ELGRANDE) and I am interested in creating a map for your game. You can contact me in discord as: gamer_elgrande # 9493”

Thank you for the bulletin list and the translation. I don’t expect my game to be high-quality, so that final bulletin might just work. Also, I know a guy who can make UTGs, so he might be able to help with that.

Well try seeing if you have any friends or search on HD’s Discord for people who do it free and or take a commission. I’ve seen some programmers work for literally nothing before.

You could try to give a percent like 40% to the builder and 40% to the programmer. Just asking, what would be your job?

I know very basic building and programming, so I might be able to help out a little bit. Would that mean I should pay slightly less if I did?

You don’t necessarily need lots of robux to make a game, for example I, and many other developers actually won’t work for robux, but pure equity and/or a salary. Sure it may be hard to convince people the idea will succeed if you don’t have some capital yourself, however with the right idea, the right motivation and of course the right skillset you can still make a front page quality game with virtually nothing.

I was hoping that me and my future team could make multiple games because I have a lot of ideas. That’s a lot of doing your job. I don’t want to pay money because I might have to get currency from all over the world. @ekuz0diaa mentioned a small down-payment with a percentage, so I think I’ll stick with that. Thanks though, you really helped.
