I just wanted thoughts on my water system I made with inspiration form creators like Dabidar and devvexus
It’s a skinned mesh base system, complete with a custom texture and a fully customisable config file for wave height, speed etc with variables for depth, with depth colour high, colour low, intensity and so on.
I’ve searched the internet far and wide, and I have came to the conclusion that mines is pretty good. It would be great to get feedback on how mines comapares with other systems.
Update!
I have managed to create a sail system which blows with wind and improved the look of the water!
A video of the sails!

This ocean mesh looks VERY GOOD AND REALISTIC! It’s detailed and great! Good job on it! How long did it take to make? Will it be used in anything?

Very cool stylized look, what’s the performance on it? Especially considering you’re editing vertex colors?

It took me about two months, and about 3 weeks of straight developing for the depth, It’l be used in my upcoming game, If you want mpre info about it, I’am free to give contac details.
It’s actually performant to about ~500 ms and its a skinned mesh which cant use vertex colors.
500ms?? that’s not very performant. half a second for an ocean, or any script really, is a lot. usually it shouldn’t go over ~16ms (60fps), otherwise it might block rendering and such.
oh alright, just thought it could because you said “depth color high/low” but alright.
I just haven’t optimized it. No lods or anything. I sorta clickbaited on the title
