Ability to make unlimited gamepasses but only sell a certain amount for a game

(This issue has really gotten me mad considering I feel that it should be fixed immediately)

It’s gotten to the point where I can’t make new gamepasses for my games because I’ve reached the max amount I can make.

External Media

But, the thing is, I have deleted unused ones from the game/my inventory, and removed their scripts that award them in the game.
I have tried all I can do to wipe them off the face of ROBLOX, but they are still there - taking up space for gamepasses.

I think the ability to make unlimited gamepasses (FOR A SINGLE GAME) but only sell a certain maximum will be more beneficial.

I hope that this issue can be resolved.

I do feel this needs to be implemented, as it’s fairly critical.

I’d be all for this. I’ve never experienced this myself, however I am sure many developers have been blocked from selling their products due to using all their game pass slots.

I agree. There are a lot of game passes ideas I have in mind but I can’t make them due to the lack of space.

Of course. Also, if you want to recycle old ones for a newer set, why not?

The logic or this problem is; I have no gamepasses on my game, yet ROBLOX claims it has reached the maximum amount of gamepasses for that game.

To be honest, why stop there? Why does there have to be a limit?

I mean, Roblox is all about monetization, right?

I agree, plus, people just make it in other places and are forced to sell it in game. It’s just an inconvenience.

Yeah I see why they have it like this but there really isn’t a point, developer products would be able to scam players just as good as gamepasses so it wouldn’t effect anything to delete a gamepass and add a new one with no limit its just like when players used to use tshirts instead of products, which also have 0 limits.

I think we should be allowed to have un limited gamepasses, and i think gamepasses never should be removed from the game page it self, just saying “this item is off sale”
So they can’t scam people and say “this has never been on this game”

I just don’t understand why there’s a limit in gamepasses initially. Especially if they cost 100 R$ to make.

They are free to make now, that Dev products came.

Bumping this old thread because why the hell is there a limit on the number of game passes we can create? I mean, I would be fine with a limit of 9 displayed on the game page, especially if we can control which ones we display, and in what order. But arbitrarily limiting the number of game passes is just plain dumb.

Have a page like the Develop page for places, with “Active” buttons to manage them.

May I ask why you use Game Passes. I literally see no use of them anymore when Developer Products were introduced. I can handle that as developer, that they can’t buy a ‘product’ anymore when they purchased it. So I don’t see a use to it, to be honest.

But for your situation : I’m alright with the fact that you can make unlimited passes, but I think you should be able to showcase 10 on your Game page.

I use Game Passes for things you only buy once like a special item, I use Developer Products for things that can be bought multiple times.

Also, 10 wouldn’t work because you display them in sets of three.

9 then

Why not use developer products to do the same? The way I see it, the only difference is game passes are visible on the game details page. Am I missing something?

Game passes feel more tangible and a consumer typically feels more secured if they buy a gamepass.
However, how often this effect sales is beyond me, but I’ve experienced this first hand. It’s an interesting concept. Some products (such as VIP/Premuim) tend to sell better as a Gamepass.

I dont see a reason not to have unlimited passes. Or at least the ability to update them if not already.

I’m with everyone questioning why there’s a limited amount, could we get a “practically infinite” amount? Like, 100? I think there’s a point of “unnecessary” and I think 100 covers that. With more thought, 70 is also a good number. (69 PASSES?!) This is all pure observation.

I actually didn’t know about this, I plan to sell about 15 special (but no OP) weapons as gamepasses and I have about 7 other gamepass ideas. I’m assuming the limit is 15 (from pure observation) so this is a problem to me. And it’s also a system problem, why is there a limit?

How does everyone feel about the “practically infinite” amount of 100? (99 PASSES?? I feel that’s unnecessary)
