Is it possible to prompt a user to join a group from in-game? I vaguely remember hearing that this feature was on Roblox’s roadmap for future updates last year, but I am now curious as to whether such a feature has yet been released. If so, what would this function look like in a script?

Unfortunately as far as I’m aware, there aren’t any functions that allow players to join groups in game. All game functionality related to groups are info retrieving functions and read-only properties. This has been a widely requested feature since groups were first implemented. I believe at one point it was almost in the process of being supported but I don’t think the JoinGroup feature’s development concluded. This was way back in the ancient days of Roblox, the JoinGroup feature request has probably been long forgotten at this point.
