Introduction
Greetings, I’m Paul, sometimes people prefer to call me Mega.
The Issue
As a Roblox developer, it is currently hard to check when my account was last online and check it’s activity. In Roblox, I want to implement an Account Activity Log, for Roblox accounts that are either going online or offline, to check for security purposes. Recently, I experienced one of my old accounts getting hacked, even though I turned on 2-step Verification, though the hacker must’ve access the verified email. I only noticed this when my account began going online and it recently gone to games, based on the green dot in it’s profile. After 3 days, I noticed I can no longer log in that account, because the hacker must’ve changed the password and I requested for Roblox support to terminate and delete the account.
Feature Proposal
I want to propose a feature where users can check their account’s recent activity through requesting it in their verified email, to check what device the person’s account is logged in and to check what it’s recent activity was, this would also help account security because if we see here, if we see what devices our accounts are logged-in we could instantly press the ‘Sign out of all sessions’ to immediately expel whoever is on another device, this would also help because we could now see what the hacker have been doing inside your account while your not logged into it, especially to alternative accounts.
Conclusion
If Roblox could address this issue it would really help in account security and would really help the community to reduce the activity of hacking because people can now see what their account has been doing.
