My alt account for game developing just got randomly deleted today for using an account to avoid an enforcement action, I’ve seen a lot of posts on devforum about that kind of deletions, but I’m not sure what to do since roblox support seems to completely ignore every appeal if the first one is denied. This account is empty and every game I developed were posted under group, so I’m not afraid about losing anything, however I’m scared that this may happen to my main account aswell, it would also be great if this account was back anyways.
yeah im just gonna quit development after these recent ones
I’m not sure why exactly it happens, highly doubt that VPNs might cause that in a multi-billion company, because I use VPNs a lot due to my local country restrictions.
guys hear me out… what if actual humans made sure account deletions were reasonable?
dont hit me with that “how are they going to handle the millions of roblox players” I DONT WANNA HEAR THAT
Weird, because it was randomly my alt, not my main account. Main accounts should be deleted first, don’t they?
I’m pretty sure this is caused when you get IP banned. So if someone using your IP gets their account deleted, you will also get your account deleted since you’re using the same IP as them. This happened to one of my friends recently, but he appealed the ban and it got him unbanned. I honestly think Roblox should hardware ban users (where they ban every account on a person’s device instead of a person’s IP) so that way false bans like this don’t occur as much. Because I see so many of these false bans from IP banning (especially recently since Roblox seems to be IP banning more frequently now)
Too bad I can’t access neither youtube or discord without a VPN, that sucks.
Currently wrote an appeal to roblox, I will update once roblox support replies.
Just got a reply, obviously declined without any further explanation. Even after requesting at least the username of the account that got me banned, roblox support team completely ignored it. Thanks @roblox
