This isn’t entirely true, since at some point audios will have the ability to be made public again. Sure you’ll have a decent amount of time (possibly a few months) but bypassed and loud audios are bound to come back.
Keep in mind that music is generally not that much of an issue for Roblox.
Sound effects on the other hand were scarce enough as it was.
With this change, we have to pray to god that this upcoming addition to Roblox’s sound inventory will be able to solve every single sound issue.
Because if it doesn’t? God help us all…

For anyone who isn’t an SFX designer/creator at least:
We don’t have anything to replace our current sound effects right now, and because of that everyone is angry.
It is also breaking the functionality of many games, and there ARE better alternatives to this nuclear option!
This is the thing I do not agree with, and many more are on my side. A 10 sound limit is horrible. Why? Your average good Roblox gun needs an average of 4 sounds to work well. This is not mentioning other weapons you might want to add, ambience sounds, other sfx, voice acting, music, etc.
Nobody here should be happy that its free with this restriction. Developers can earn. You can get the resources to upload. If you are happy about this you probably didnt even try to get investment for your projects.
Sound is one of the most important factors on a game’s polish and the limit just kills any sort of attempt to have it. Bring the fees back.

They won’t work for PRIVATED audios after this change, not every audio.
You have 0 Robux because you chose to. Roblox not only provides the TalentHub but many people are looking for comissions and pay well. It is your fault if you did not look into it enough or did not have the skill necessary.
Because you are satisfied, it does not mean other people are. You have a very selfish view on this topic. Many of my friends can not finish their projects due to the limitations. I personally am not affected by this, but it harms a lot of developers. If you have an open mind you will realise this later on, as well.
Yea maybe your right with your point, I feel like roblox should increase the upload limit for non-verified users.
For me, personally, this isn’t the biggest deal since I’m verified and I can upload 100 per month, but I kinda understand you.

At first, I thought this update would be great. But its absolutely horrible.
THIS IS GOING TO AFFECT EVERY GAME ON ROBLOX. SOME GAMES THAT DON’T UPDATE FREQUENTLY ARE GOING TO LOSE PLAYERS BECAUSE of this. This is not good. Games like Roblox Funky Friday, Super Nostalgia Zone, Auto rap battles, The super scary elevator ARE all gonna have NO SOUND because not only do almost all of these games hardly update but they ARE HEAVILY RELIANT on audio. ROBLOX, please give developers more time atleast. March 22nd is not a long time to implement all of these changes.

this may seem like a good update at first, but put in context of roblox it is anything but.
to put it simply; NOOOOOOO
keep in mind that LOTS of audios that get uploaded onto the platform are not even made by the person uploading it. it’s either songs by popular artists or sound effects from other video games. you may be helping SFX artists and composers on roblox by keeping their work secure from others, but you are doing so at the expense of SO MUCH MORE PEOPLE.
please don’t go through with this. it is not a good idea for roblox

What you just said is really rude. He isn’t selfish because he doesn’t mind having Robux. Also, the Talent Hub is crap. There are ways to get around any limitations such as my ASA module.
Don’t instantly call him underskilled or blame him for not being materialistic just because he showed happiness that he can make a game for free now. Just use my ASA module if the limits are bumming you out, like don’t just criticize everyone. Don’t continue this comment, just please try to keep professional with other developers and seek out resources if you are having problems.
You CANNOT use them if you do not own them and they’re private, and you are on a monthly system and cannot pay for more audios once you’ve reached your limit, You’re RESTRICTED to using the audios that you’ve uploaded or are uploaded by ROBLOX for 1-5 months.
Even with the expected library expansion, Roblox cannot make up for the amount of music and SFX which will be lost soon due to this change. While some music may be able to be replaced, any scripting derived on the length of the audio will be substantially more difficult to replace. It is advertised that long term solutions are planned to be implemented, but the duration of recovery to achieve said long term solution is simply unacceptable by the standards of developers. I once again urge the Roblox dev team to consider the public response to this destructive change.
