Might be completely unrelated but could roblox be doing this to get rid of inactive developers? Its quite a wild theory I barely believe it myself but maybe…?
Doubt it. There’s not many inactive developers and not really a reason to get rid of them if they are still making roblox money.

Wild speculation, But you might be onto something here! 
(This is a joke - I doubt Roblox would do that. If they wanted inactive devs gone, They’d just ban them. And actually, They’re already kinda doing that with old inactive accounts from 2008-2010!)

It’s funny seeing you talking about small developers, when you have 3 million visits. Small devs are effected by this, you a big dev is not. You can easily hire people, while small devs can’t. Don’t talk in the shoes of small devs when you ARENT a small dev.

…okay. So ACS is fine. The engine is fine.
What about the 1000s of Community Made guns with custom Sounds? Or viethin, or even Wolfenchan and their vehicles and guns.
Some Systems won’t be touched, but the issue is. The sounds which are touched are sometimes baked into the scripts. Meaning the sound breaks the gun breaks. Not to even add the fact that any 5+ Long audio gets privated and effectively deleted since lots of users who made them aren’t active. Or the fact that we won’t be able to listen to remixes of songs which would fall under fair use.
I understand your points. I do. But this update affects many other small devs…
And learning audio isn’t easy at all, nor is coding, nor is modeling!

The only thing that bugs me about this is sounds being privated, and the sound limit. The moderation length was always going to be an issue but I dont think people would mind.
Please specify? Who did Roblox sue or attempt to sue and for what?
I do understand it will affect many, but this will push people to learn more! what benefits us all in the long run, well to be fair if you want to listen to remixes of songs, there is such platforms you can do so?, but yeah this is going to Safe Guard a lot of people’s work that is why i agree with this very much, as everyone is aware how easy things are to be stolen on roblox, so in the long run this very much will benefit us, Due to that new panel they added into the studio allowing us to actually see the real Maker.
Yeah the whole Roblox library is replaced with this.
Ruben, I won’t say too much but roblox pulled a bunch of false charges on the guy. They settled out of court and Ruben can’t make an account, or use the website features that need an account. Ruben is effectively banned for life.
Roblox have been removing audio apparently today you guys may have found some audio deleted according from my developer.
“I know theres murder inside this neighborhood, but he shouldn’t be arrested becuase it teaches people how to be safe!” This is a terrible argument. I doubt you made all the audio inside your starwar game. Why can’t you learn then huh?

The fact Roblox wants us to upload all of our audio to our main accounts is ridiculous considering the moderators give out bans with no warning for the most minute things.

You say this but you actually forgot that the roblox stupid bot uploaded music with swears in it’s name, at least give a bit of more effort and check what the bot and your “partners” upload, thanks for reading!

I just realized a ton of games I play are probably going to be rendered barely playable because of the changes and their developers not having enough time to fix them, meaning even if I quit development, I can barely play on Roblox because no fun games will be playable. I can’t even make my audios public to fix my own if I want to because of the delay.
