Luckily only a couple of my 50-100 e x p e r i e n c e s had sound. Big relief, and I still have 6 left. But having to look online for a sound to upload instead of the audio library makes it feel like Roblox is just trying to get less involved in it, whatever “it” is, I don’t even know anymore.
We’ll have to get used to this update I am sure. I guess I’m a roblox developer again because I reuploaded my sounds and I can’t find any more games of mine with sound.
(Audio checks and moderation surprisingly took at most 1 minute.)
But we haven’t found out how to get to that goal yet.

I cannot believe that Roblox has not responded after nearly 4,000 posts condemning this update. It’s clear that they’re looking at the thread, otherwise, how would they have moderated those posts?
It’s probable that this update will be pushed. I can see thousands of games being silent. One of the examples that I know of would be “Eg” by Nimblz. In my opinion, it would be highly disrespectful if that game was silenced.
Hopefully Roblox reconsiders this, and just sticks to the strike system the have for audio now. It’s better than this, and that’s saying a lot.

What a horrible update, Do you guys even think about others games such as games with radio game passes and audios that are uploaded by inactive account? Every update or new change this company makes is mostly for the worst at this point. Very disappointing.

Honestly 90% of the Roblox songs suck. A lot of them are classical-ish, and very instrumental (which isn’t bad, but these songs don’t fit what most people are looking for).

I know right, to be honest most of the Roblox audio sucks and is 99% of the time just cookie cutter and bland.

Also adding on to my comments about this. The fact that no Roblox staff responds to this at the time of writing baffles me. Are they gonna reply to the reaction of this?

In my opinion, the only good audios roblox has uploaded in my opinion are old ones that replaced content deleted songs and some other things
Well, its because they don’t have any news to put out. Do you expect them to respond 4000 times that the plan hasn’t changed?
I wouldn’t expect any response unless something changes.
im sure a lot of the staff at roblox HQ have their own opinions about it
but keep in mind they have specific people who can only announce specific things
so its going to be hard to formulate a response

Maybe some of the new music partnerships will at least be OK? I’ve looked at Position Music a long time ago and do remember seeing some genuinely good songs on there. Lot of stuff that people could actually use in a game instead of only in the background of a TV show.
Still needs a better search function though to sift through all the bad though…
