For the love of god and all the developers on Roblox. Find a better solution to this. This is ruining the entire feel Roblox had at the beginning. And it will keep being ruined like this.
Not only is the time span to short to upload all song people gotta upload. But people have been given random amounts of upload slots. 1 song will now have a million copies of itself within your CDN system
Wake the hell up and see what this update is doing with your community and developers. They keep the money rolling.

COME ON!!! I uploaded and made many of these audios myself under my own groupâs game and canât use them. This is going to completely silence a crucial part of my game. I can only upload 10 audios and these audios shouldnât be blacklisted in the first place!! This plugin only checks if a sound is over 5.5 seconds and if it is, that sound is screwed. FIX THIS UTTER GARBAGE.
Ah. Youâre on about DevEx. Iâve never been able to so would have never known. I donât do Roblox as a way to make real money. I just develop because I enjoyed it. But now with this update on the way Iâve been thinking of quitting. I already have my audio saved but Iâm too scared to attempt reuploading in case moderation decide to hand me false bans for audio that was already on the platform and approved.
Almost as if roblox team just stopped giving a thing about the community. Oh wait, they already did. Remember cancellation of egghunts? Other sesonal events that used to be hosted by roblox? Giftsplosion? Itâs funny how community cares more about roblox traditions than roblox themselves when looking on community egghunts like these. Shame on you, roblox team.
Exactly and I used to avoid this bullcrap by atleast using the studioâs option to search for time specific audios, but now they made it so that the search getâs more inaccurate to the point of only showing 2 audios because you wanted to look for audios specifically at 1-5 seconds.
There was another filter too, you could look for relevant, recent and etc, but they removed that feature too, theyâre doing everything in their power to make everything a damn clusterf.
I certainly donât like re-uploading audios but i guess it was a necessary change. Maybe it could have been approached on a friendlier way to developers.
And now weâve hit the most replies I think Iâve ever seen on a DevForum post, near-universal community outcry, 5 days later, and no reply. Brilliant.
Let this be a lesson as to where Robloxâs priorities lie, everyone.
I am once again commenting because the stupid plugin you guys provide only checks to see if something is under 6 seconds it doesnât check if it will be private or copyrighted. So I am guessing all my old audios that I PAID for with MY REAL MONEY will be removed. Thanks roblox!
Really you should know yourself if you have the relevant copyright permissions to upload the audio? Why should Roblox know that?
I think it uses a blue tick if itâs private, green tick if itâs public <6 seconds. Not 100% sure on that.
