Recently, I made an ad set with a lifetime budget of 50 ad credits with a running time of 8 days to sponsor my game. Instead of spreading out the credits across the 8 days, it spent them all within about 2 hours.
So, I made another version and put a DAILY budget of about 45 credits with a running time of 8 days (360 credits total).
On day one it spent all 45 credits within 3 hours.
Does anyone know why all of the credits are spent within a short time frame instead of being spread out?
My suggestion is managing your own daily ad budget. This is what I do nowadays since the ad credit spending is pretty unreliable.
Right now if you wanted to advertise, you should schedule 6 ad credits a day for 8 days. I personally would go higher, especially because roblox still eats credits very quickly.
Hi @Cheese127 We appreciate you reaching out and understand your concerns about how your campaign budget was spent. Our team is actively working on improvements to optimize pacing and ensure better performance. Your feedback is incredibly valuable in helping us enhance the Ads Manager experience for everyone.
It looks like your campaign may have been running Search Ads, which are currently designed to spend more quickly. We’re working on refining this behavior. In the meantime, you might consider using Sponsored Ads, which appear in the Sponsored sort on the home page and are designed to pace spending more evenly over time.
Thanks again for sharing your experience — we appreciate it! If you have any questions or need further assistance, we’re happy to help.
Was not aware of that. Hopefully things are smoothed out, because I find search ads very useful. Maybe put a disclaimer on the ad type in the meantime?
