Add blend modes to all Roblox GUI objects

pleaseeee, its such a pain having to use photoshop to do 1 piece of my ui out of all probably 200 elements, i can’t believe after 6 years this still isnt added

How come? a normal developer created blureffect wouldnt blur anything in playergui but the coregui one does? So there’s clearly some modifications that have been made to it.

I’m more concerned about the fact that there are people on the forum who defends Roblox’s hesitation towards putting resource into valuable UX features under the guise of “performance.” It leaves us stuck in the Mesozoic era for a game engine.

Either way, Roblox running at higher level does not excuse a reason for UIBlur to not be a thing just because it “doesn’t have” the capability to be as optimized as OS-level.

Blend modes should also be a thing… they’re just a matter of calculating the colors from the higher Z index, applying it to the lower Z index, and displaying it on-screen.

This is not some fantasy ray-tracing stuff to begin with, so it makes sense that it is a right and not privilege.
