As a developer, it is sometimes annoying that sound isn’t simulated realistically, and can sometimes pass through walls. The concept I am thinking of is the density of a part of an object or mass of it makes sound quieter past the block. Let’s say you’re building a mall and you want to play some cool music inside each store. Yes, you CAN do this with sound regions but inside a tiny crowded store for example, you can make the blocks interfere with the sound’s range.
Basically something like Realistic Sound, Dynamic Range, etc.
If Roblox is able to address this issue, it would improve my development majorly, this could be a toggleable feature with properties too. This could improve gameplay in small ways, such as driving games, you won’t have to hear everyone else’s music coming out their cars, or their playing loud music, which then parts of it comes through.
A bit like a lowpass effect or to be specific, ever sit in traffic and hear another car’s music being blasted?
Small little effect, not sure how hard it would be to implement, but I’d say it would be useful.
