As a Roblox developer, it is currently too hard to verify my translation tables without translating myself. Support the pseudo-localization feature to fake localization in a fake language for easy verification. The way this works is Roblox would generate a fake language from English/source entries that clearly is not English, but looks localized.
Benefits:
- Can tell when unicode is not being handled correctly
- Easily identify what components aren’t localized yet (see below)
- Don’t need to translate/pay translators to verify translation
- Makes verification much easier on inspection with only one entry
- Can be automatically generated
- Clearly not a locale, but easily used
- Can verify :FormatByKey and other issues where translations may be missed (concatenation)
Notes:
- Standardly set to qlp-pls as a locale
