Ads or sponsors?

Ads or sponsors? im always being picky, which one is catchy and worth it?

Sponsors are better because ads don’t run on mobile and can easily be blocked by ad blockers.

Would definitely agree. I use adblockers and I never get roblox ads but I do get sponsors, also a lot of people have adblockers.

Sponsors are also in your focus a lot more, so I’d say that they are more noticeable and/or can be mistaken for actual games on front page giving you extra edge.

I’d say you should use both, but do more sponsoring. I myself haven’t sponsored much but I’m gonna start soon.

Sponsoring, gets You close to the front page!

I’ve used both and I’d say sponsoring will get you visits quickly although you will have to invest a huge sum into as many other people are likely running sponsors as well which lowers the impressions. I’ve used ads a little bit and they were some-what successful for me. I’d say investing in sponsorships will likely get more clicks than ads based on my experience.

I disagree with a lot of people here, I say you should use ads more often. Sure people have ad blockers, but quite often it’s sad to see the CTR for sponsors. Most of the time I don’t even get 0.5% for sponsors.

I say use ads more often, but maybe sponsor here and there

This has been discussed Before.

This is always A hot topic if debate on the dev forum you may want to read the following:

However, Ads can display A stronger message but only Computers can see them and only without ad block.
Have A great day!

One of the main reason CTR is so low on sponsors is because it is easier to miss them and A large grid of games. So CTR is higher on advertisements as A result of their size and diversity. However something being clicked on does not represent the amount of people searching for it afterwards as A result.

Hello there,

You have to have good designs for ads that you’re almost sure a player will click on them. You can ask friends if they would click and play!

Sponsorship isn’t a bad thing either, as many people are always browsing between the Games they can play!

Of course I don’t know how much you want to spend on it but you can if you have, for example, 10K budget for it! 2 days running an ad for 2500 and 2 days running a sponsor for 2500 robux. That’s how it is divided up and would have a big chance of getting a lot of players!

Good luck already!

Greetings,

Sys. (Aka. Tim)

Depends on what you’re doing. If you have a game use sponsors. If you have a group use ads.

When running ads, it only matters how good the ad is. If it is catchy, the player will most likely click on it.

The biggest I’ve run on an ad is 500 and I got a pretty decent CTR (over 0.5). I spent 78 robux on another one and got an even higher CTR!

So, it doesn’t much matter in my opinion how much robux you use.
