Hello! Sorry to hear you are having this issues with the new model. The new model will require some mechanism re-tuning. For example, the angle of attack on the rotor blades might be a bit too high for the stall behavior of the new model. It would also be helpful to know what density and rotation rate you are using.
Weād be happy to look into the problem if you can DM us a reproducer. Weād like to make sure models like this work and make sure we have not missed anything with our internal testing on similar looking rotors (that worked).
Is there a way to call or request the exact position of the COP in reference to the COM value wise of the Assembly? Very useful for automatic trim systems
What a great idea! Iām sorry but unfortunately we donāt have an API for that yet, but we will think about how to make that information accessible. It would certainly be useful.
Indeed would, even a vector 3 position read only value like Assembly center of mass will be fantastic.
Will we ever get sound occlusion? I do feel SoundService could use a few updates, but this isnāt the topic for discussing that.
I am a flight simulator dev, and I feel like this would definitely be the best option once they continue to add more options to tweak and customize. This will for sure save a lot of time and is a pretty neat feature from roblox.

Iām sure this has been already said but I would greatly appreciate extra modularity and more intricate fine-tuning. This includes being able to toggle on/off the lift and drag forces separately, customize the air density gradient, etc.
After testing with the F-15 and trying to make my own plane based on my existing system, Iāve arrived at a roadblock. Is it true Motor6Ds cannot be used for flight control surfaces? They seem to have zero control authority in my case, either that, or itās my planeās unusual airframe that roblox canāt comprehend.
Hello, thanks for your question. The aerodynamics system is designed to work with our constraints. It is not compatible with Motor6Ds. You can try using hinge constraints as in the F15 example.

As of now we donāt have plans to support Motor6Ds.
