This feature is new and it has a lot of issues. It’s unusable at the moment (in my opinion).

AI Code Assist is a beta and this is to be expected. There is currently no workaround and this is normal behavior.

I would ask you read this DevForum thread on fire more information about the state of AI Code Assist.

You did not tell the AI what to do. You’re not using it correctly, when it’s intended to be an autocomplete.
