Allow delegated access of developer console to specific users

As a Roblox developer, it is currently impossible to effectively debug a game when you aren’t the owner (But still work on the project). I’m the co-owner of a project on Roblox and have full team create access/access to assets in a group, but cannot use the developer console’s tools to effectively find and resolve issues with the game (The developer console has more details than would ever be possible w/a DIY console). Because of this, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to resolve game-breaking bugs that only occur in an online session.

I would like to see Roblox add the ability to delegate developer console access to a specific user (Similar to how you can grant access via team create) for a place. There could also be a setting to disallow them from viewing certain tabs/executing actions (Such as using the command bar in-game).

If Roblox is able to address this issue, it would allow me to resolve issues in-game much faster v. relying on player reports and having a wild goose chase with tracking down bugs.

Maybe something similar to the new methods added to SetCore relating to FreeCamera in the latest update, but for the developer console instead?

Spoiler

of course, would be something able to be set on server only, but could be a great addition.

That would be amazing if it could be programmed server-side. I think for security purposes it’d be better to have it done on the actual site by the owner.

I also think we should be able to turn off dev console for users not in a whitelist. A lot of exploiters use it to remote spy.

Anyone who has game edit privileges should be able to access the developer console. If that is resolved, is there a reason you want to be able to give dev console permissions to someone who doesn’t have game edit access?

Took this screenshot in a group game in which I’m not the owner of the group. I have permission to edit assets and games, so I assume that’s why I have full developer console access. Not sure why you don’t.

Likely is only for group games - the project I work on is hosted by a user, not a group.

The post makes it sound like this is a group game.

The game is separate from the group - the intention was for the game to be converted to a group game once it reached 1m visits, but that offer was closed by the time we hit 1m visits.
