Nothing but fair to let the group owner have his group’s game show among the personal places he’s uploaded.
We do not need this. Instead we need a way to spotlight certain places regardless as to if we made them. Developers would spotlight games they’ve worked on and players would spotlight their favorite games. Games themselves would then no longer need as much web presence and could even be filed under inventory.
I guess that’s what favorites are for.
Group games should be visible on the owners page because it’s technically HIS game.

If that’s the case then you’re using group games wrong. Group games are for when the game belongs to multiple people. In that case, anyone with editing permissions should be able to include it on their profile.

The point of a group game is to distribute revenue and credit among the people who worked on it. If it really is your game then it shouldn’t be on a group in the first place.

True, but then there should be an option for all developers on the game to choose to publish it at their profile!
I thought owner was simpler, but if you could add an option to allow certain ranks to publish game on their profile that’d be even greater!

That’s a pretty narrow viewpoint. Group payouts and profit sharing are extremely handy features. By hosting your game in a group, you get access to these features, allowing you to pay others for commissioned work in the future if you choose.
Another perk of having a group game lies within the group itself. By following a model similar to what the Hexaria developers have done, you can grow your group, and, with the growth of the group, comes easy access to numerous testers. These testers can be notified of updates and testing periods through the group shout and/or wall, and not only does the group provide a place for dedicated fans to give feedback, but it allows you to establish a fan base that could be used to promote your game upon launch.
Edit:
I also agree with Echo’s suggestion - you should be able to designate permissions within your group that allow multiple people to host the same place on their respective profiles.

Instead of slamming the idea you might acknowledge that group pages are extremely outdated compared to the new look. And clearly because they are outdated and group games are new, they were not designed for being a platform to host games on.
tl;dr - Redesign group pages ASAP

My point is that it is only your game if you made it alone. Otherwise it was made by and should be credited to a group of people. If it is really your game then there is no reason for it to be on a group.
