When uploading a badge with a transparent background, for a non-circular badge design, the background is now black instead of transparent. The image uploaded was a PNG.
Expected behavior
In the past, as recent as about as a year ago, uploaded badges would preserve their transparent backgrounds making for interesting badge design possibilities.
Additionally, here’s a Jailbreak badge from 2017 that has preserved transparency.
