An X. (a Glitched Roblox Item) was originally a fixed version of the cancelled version of the Classic Roblox Pumpkin Head

Due to how different the code was to modern Roblox, this item was unfortunately overwritten with a broken version of the Wanwood Antlers, but i did successfully recreate the item to its original state, it would be nice for this item to be preserved back to its original state before it became a corrupted file. (and could i get this item in my inventory, i really wanna make an outfit with that version of the Classic Pumpkin Head.)

(a screenshot i managed to recover from a friend back then)

I actually had this in another report of mine way back in February that has yet to be responded to, Missing thumbnails and items, still awaiting a response to this day from staff but hopefully they’ll notice it. I’ve also included other items along with “An X.”

As far as I’m aware, this hat has always been a failed wanwood antlers upload. As for the screenshot provided, it appears to be falsified in someway which is apparent when you see that “ROBLOX” is for some reason changed to “Roblox”.

This screenshot of the archive shows that main difference

So, after looking into this myself, I haven’t been able to find reliable evidence of this occurring, so I’m just wondering if you have a source for it?
This issue is a truly generational discovery if it’s true and I think this screenshot is the only living proof of it; however I’ve never personally seen this version of the Classic Pumpkin Head before, and I was just reading one of Spectaqual’s posts regarding this item in particular, which as far as I know was never a pumpkin to begin with.

I also think the image your friend provided may have been doctored, as Layton pointed out above the “ROBLOX” is supposed to be fully capitalized given the time period it’s allegedly from, but the model shown in the image also appears to be a 1:1 copy of a model that was uploaded just yesterday as seen here.

So, as far as I can tell, this bug report in a nothing-issue that’s probably not worth “fixing”, but I’d honestly love to get in touch with your friend if they are able to provide more reliable images or evidence of this, but if it’s true I will gladly eat my words and hope it gets reverted accordingly.
I don’t believe staff typically gives out specific items to people who report their issues though, let alone one as old and infinitely rare as this one, but all power to you!

Thanks for the report. We did some investigation on our end. It looks like there are two versions of this asset. The first one from 2007 is corrupt, and the second one in 2016, which was probably a conversion of the 2007 version draws a blank Accessory node. So there isn’t much we can do in terms of restoration.

Thanks for understanding.

The data in the first version of the hat is not corrupted. That’s a duplicate upload of the Wanwood Antlers mesh under the wrong AssetType. I’ve already laid out my thoughts here, IMO there’s not much that can really be done to change “An X.” in a way that’s authentic.
