Angular damping to be reduced on July 20th

Hi Everyone!

On Thursday, July 20th there will be a reduction in angular damping on parts in places using the PGS solver on production. This means there will be much less resistance on a part’s angular motion.

With this reduction we know, for example, that vehicles will be able to accelerate faster and reach higher top speeds, tops will spin longer before tipping over, and debris from explosions will maintain rotational energy a bit longer.

We are confident this will allow you to make models and games with more realistic motion. Nevertheless, there may be some tuning you will need to do in order to accommodate for this.

Please keep us posted if you have any questions.
