- create rig
- open animation editor
- enable ik function
- click and drag an object to animate
- let go of object in position
- bug should be present now if you try animating anything else.
Once I enable the IK function, the rig should be animating using IK, joints should be bending and following a target object, animation should be working so i can correctly animate what i wanted to.
this video is me recreating the steps and showing you how the ik breaks stuffff
No work around besides off platform software
Issue Area: Studio
Issue Type: Other
I encountered the same problem as you, is it not operating correctly or is it a bug in Roblox Studio
Thanks for reporting this. I filed a ticket to our internal database.
any fix to this issue so far?, Im having the same issue right now while animating.
I’m still having this problem. Any resolution?
I’m guessing this issue still isn’t solve yet.
My whole art team has this problem. We get one part to work, and then the same part separates and moves independently. Then we get hopeful because a few parts work for a few keyframes, and then it breaks. If we’re doing something wrong, I wish I just knew what it was.
The IK works perfectly with scripts, where I can use an attachment object as a real-time mover for a hand or foot, etc. So weird it breaks all the time in Animation Studio.
