Animation Editor & Custom avatars having Issue with Bones and IK

Hello, I have been trying to figure out how to implement custom avatars from blender and its been going pretty well so far, but I do have a few questions in relation to the animation editor and ease of access questions.

Firstly and most importantly, Why does this box pop up when I want to click on a bone? I figured out it was the mesh, but I cant click on any of the bones unless I want to scroll through the joint list in the animator.

Second question I got is about IK/Inverse Kinematics, can I apply it to a custom rig and how? I’m not finding anything in the animator for it. would be great to know if it does work.

And ultimately I’m considering if I should just stick to blender for most of the animation but I would like to use studio for the ease of not having to swap in-between programs and uploading animations without having to figure out how its formatted.
