You can create up to 5 badges for free every 24 hours. You gotta pay 100 after that.
Roblox needs to get money also from this, right? It’s also to prevent abuse.

Wow! This is a really good update, what can I say. This really helps people who try to make games without havibg robux, now they can make badges too. Good job, Roblox!

This is actually really good for a lot of reasons, however a lot of people use badges to stalk famous players and join their games. And now badges are free this will be a common occurrence. Positives definitely outweigh negatives though!

Yeah, I agree with this. However, the number of badges might skyrocket and hence water out the “rarity” of badges in general. For instance, you might get “Thanks for playing!”, “Played 5 minutes!”, “Played 10 minutes!” etc. badges
That’s why I proposed this:
I am so glad Roblox has finally done this, some games just require badges, well not require but you get what I mean. For example if you are a starting developer, no robux, and you want to add badges for your obby, let say in increments of 10. That would add up quickly, especially for a small developer, even for a big developer, would still be helpful. I understand the 5 badge limit but I do think it should be raised to maybe 10, but that is just me.
I honestly would not spend 100 robux on each badge since I am a starter developer and I am saving up for advertisements, but badges are a really good source to reward your player, especially if its a newer player or something, it is a good way of rewarding people without having to give currency on every part, if you get what I mean (sorry I’m tired)

That seems like a problem with the game’s design, not a problem inherent to free badges. Any game could do this as long as they had the Robux to make the badges.

No? A badge is still a badge. It’s an achievement you get for doing something in a game. Are Steam achievements not achievements because every game can implement them?
