Internal exploits get detected by hyperion easily. Best exploits dont inject anything, only read memory and simulate input. You cant detect those things without kernel access

I want to use this post to point some statements out which you have made.

Without a doubt, there are anti cheats developed by experienced people who have a lot of knowledge in their field. But if we’re talking about this type of anti cheat, it won’t work at all. Any decent script developer who has faced any sort of anti cheat before, would undoubtedly bypass this without a problem.

And unlike other people in this thread, I don’t mean to bash the OP at all. I’d be rather interested if he’d show any sort of improvement in his work, and ultimately show a learning curve for himself as well as for others.

Client sided anti cheats will stay bad, and there’s no way out of it. There’s no concrete evidence needed when even the most popular and ‘reliable’ anti cheats known by this market gets bypassed every now and then. Let alone some roblox devforum user trying to make an anti cheat after just being introduced in this field.

You can use whatever methods to make your divine anti cheat as secure as possible, whether it is obfuscating or angelic anti-decompiler methods. It won’t work. And even if the so called anti cheat would be so unbypassable and great, how would it perform production-wise? Would such client sided anti cheat really be useful in big and/or heavy performant games?

there is LITERALLY no internal executor that bypasses hyperion. even the new awp “emulating” hyperion won’t bypass it, i think. emphasis on “i think” cause we dont factually know yet !! ! !! ! !

Mobile and android don’t even have Hyperion. How can you bypass something that doesn’t exist?

mobile exploit devs cant even make their exploit functional for stuff outside of printing let alone bypass hyperion

Im literally friends with the owner of SynZ and the dude told me to use an alt to avoid bans on my main

meanwhile Serenity is a NN exploit that probably has worse devs than sirhurt

UNC means nothing as it can be spoofed
run a sUNC test instead of that outdated UNC test

so why care about making a game anticheat so tight and prone to future false positives when hyperion does that job for you?

realistically spending so much time on an “anti-tamper” isn’t going to do anything except waste your own time. all anticheats can be bypassed with enough time, so why care that much?

the best anticheats are the ones personalised for the game its made for, a “one solution fits all” won’t be as secure as an anticheat specifically built for a game

If you are so sure that Citadel will be bypassed with enough time, please provide proof of those claims instead of just stating hyptheticals, and just because if and when it gets bypassed won’t mean the end of everything, I can spend a whole 30 minutes of my life patching the bypass, which is most likely a lot less time than they spent on bypassing Citadel.

it is impossible to make an anticheat that is fully protected from exploiters no matter how hard you try, there will always be a bypass somehow.

in addition, im sure this Citadel anticheat would likely not work with many complex games, and probably false positive a bunch with the game behavior’s, however, if Citadel purely prioritizes catching exploits on injection (or attaching or whatever), it probably will be short-lived as exploits constantly evolve to bypass these checks.

even though it may only take 30 minutes to patch a bypass, it may only be one bypass out of millions possible, which you probably dont have the time to dedicate to such a thing

i understand you believe you are the perfect developer and all, but i think we both know it is purely impossible to protect an anticheat from all bypasses lol

Citadel does not infact focus on catching on injection instead CItadel aims to cover metamethod and function protection along with GUI detection and what not as best as possible and it is quite literally impossible for Citadel to false-positive on 99.99% of checks unless for some reason the game attempts to access CoreGui

Sure, its bypassable, but the average skid won’t stand a chance, and I have all the time in the world to waste on delivering the best possible security with optimal performance to CItadel.

You are stating there are millions of ways to bypass Citadel, assuming from your “it may only be one bypass out of millions possible.” But it isn’t like every one of those possibilities will come true; in reality, there’s a higher chance of Roblox shutting down by 2100 than all of those million possibilities in bypasses coming true for Citadel.

If you wish to prove me wrong and show that Citadel can be bypassed by the average exploiter or even an experienced one, contact an exploiter that does bypass anticheats and ask him to bypass Citadel, and I will gladly spend my time patching the bypass if they even manage to make one.

You don’t even need to bypass a client ac to exploit. None of these acs including hyperion can detect an exploit that doesnt inject which includes aimbot, autoparry, macros, saveinstance, esp (can be patched on the server but is expensive)

Client based anti-cheats is always a touchy subject because on the one hand, it can be very good against basic cheating, but on the other hand, it fails against advanced cheaters. Those advanced cheaters then give the same ability to the basic cheaters (through paid services now, if you can believe that :worried: ) and then everyone in the game is flying around, running through walls, cheating remote events, etc. Then developers have to create their own anti-cheat to run on top the anti-cheat to catch those cheaters, like a never ending battle. :roll_eyes:
