Posting for a friend, and not sure if this is the right topic, but there’s been accounts joining my friends small game (less than 1k visits), wandering around, and then leaving. And sometimes say something in chat but they get tagged. My friends game is very small and is still in the testing/early stages, so we aren’t expecting anyone to join except our friends and other recognized people to test. These bots or whoever is behind them, must have to gone out their way to search for the game specifically in order to join it.
The first instance of this happening is today, my friend published their game to test with another person, and as soon as it was published, this random account (RoronoaZoro06090) joined literally before my friend could join. All they did was join, say something in chat which ended up being tagged, and leaving.
The second instance of this happening is also today an hour or two after the first instance, my friend & their tester still freaked out about the whole thing, and this person (Mansonery) joins. At first my friend & tester didn’t notice another person joined until they checked logs. This bot account was 20s in the game before my friend noticed this random “person” joined. We tried finding this person and wasn’t successful and quickly shutdown the server. After rejoining, there were no bot accounts since.
The third instance of this happening is also today, an hour or two after the second instance, a different person has joined, omnitrix_greymatter. My friend and another different tester this time was ready and saw them wandering around. They didn’t seem like a bot, they just roamed. We asked questions but were ignored until a long minute later. To which the “bot” responded, with tags. And then wandering again, before leaving.
omnitrix_greymatter
, for the second time, joined again half an hour later, and got kicked by a developer because we just didn’t like what was going on.
omnitrix_greymatter
, for the third time, joined again nearly an hour later, and after 5s-15s immediately left for some reason.
These are the accounts that we’ve collected that we believe have some sort of connection. Note that all their badges seem to have a “welcome to XYZ”. Implying that they’re just hopping between a lot of games, gathering possibly information? Not to mention the avatars of these accounts and their usernames. The avatars are similar because well, default avatar on roblox if you haven’t defined your gender gets put as that I believe. It’s all too suspicious, I’m a little lazy to get the links of each account, but these are the account names. Look at them and tell me what you think. Stars next to the username are ones that have joined my friends place.

Another important thing to note, we’ve kept an eye on the star’d accounts and they appear to keep playing games, going online but not playing games, and sometimes straight to studio after they’ve “left” that game.
Now the big question; what the hell and why the hell? We strongly believe we don’t have any backdoors, if anything we searched on different accounts with no plugins, etc. The place/game was built from ground up, no free models (that could possibly change the game, like a script) whatsoever.
The only different post relating to this; Random people (most likely bots) joining my game
P.S: This has never happened before, until my friend migrated to TextChatService and implemented TopbarPlus to help assist with the new roblox UI, not sure if that’s the issue but we have no other leads.
