The base of the game is singleplayer. Additions can be added later.
It would have a chance to help someone who feels lonely, feel less lonely.
Well as I said, it can make a person be in a worse situation for requiring to talk with bots to be able to feel less lonely IN a game where there are already real people to talk with.
Although the idea of making a story where the bots makes the story flow is actually good depinding of the choices of the bots. (It would be like animes, mangas, tv series if the bots feels realistic). However, none of these makes people feel less lonely, but they help people in things like “How should I look like?” “How should I be like?” “What can be my actions during a bad situation?”.
(But, making characters ONLY do the popular solution wouldn’t really help since people already knows about them)
I remember that Roblox said dating is not prohibited on the platform.

I say no. You have good points and such on how you are only dating a bot and that it is merely harmless, but in the TOS is mentions that anything to reference dating in any manner would be against their rules.
There has been a bit of confusion… well a lot of confusion.
You have to change the title to Are Roblox Friendship Sims Allowed? (Singleplayer).
Why?
There has been wrong posts here saying it against the TOS, and again, you changed it to a friendship sim, which isn’t against Roblox TOS.

if its rp then sure but good luck trying to make a game like that without every single wordd being filtered lol
I don’t really think it would work out because there isn’t much appeal to making friends with what you know are bots. This is just my opinion, ofc it could be very different with younger kids.
Here’s an idea: Friend making plaza, where people can make friends with other real people, not programmed bots that don’t actually have feelings. If the point of this game is to help lonely people make friends then I think this would be a much better idea. Let’s say you like to play arsenal but you don’t really have any friends to play with, you could go into the friend making plaza and find people who have the same interests as you.
I like that idea but they will need to make sure that its very clear in desc and in game that children should not share there personal info or anything like that
I’d just like to say that first off no, references to dating are not allowed on Roblox as stated in the terms of service.
And now that you are thinking about a friendship story instead, I would say this is not a good game design idea either. It simply is very hard to pull off on Roblox. Singleplayer games, unless EXTREMELY immersive, don’t really get a lot of fame, attention, or money on Roblox. Evermore, friendship games are supposed to have illustrations and more of an art to them. It’s simply not possible on Roblox, or at least it’s much harder. There is also not a large player base on Roblox that is looking for this.
Honestly, anything that begins with a relationship in the game is prohibited. Asking this question, is pretty much useless.

Online dating is NOT tolerated on roblox, but even if they are NPC’s, I don’t think it would be so much of an “healthy” game for Roblox. Roblox is supposed to be family friendly, and to my guess, 75 percent of the roblox community is very young, and dating is nothing young kids should know about. This is my opinion.
Im sure we all remember that one game, Adopt and raise a cute kid. Was not meant to be a dating game, it was meant to be a game for family roleplay. It got taken down because so many people used it for online dating. The same thing would most likely happen in a “friendship sim”.
