Are Soviet/USSR flags/emblems forbidden now for assets or?

It seems like there is possible other flag ban, with the previous being this but apparently some possible soviet-related asset from a group of mine have been purged and I believe it was one of the shirts based off the soviet national/SSR flags, apparently something-something european union law(?) is why they got removed and it seems like roblox assets such as the Soviet Ushanka are in the process of removing the Hammer and Sickle off of them

Was some new rule introduced or are they still allowed in assets and game designing? since I have dozens of assets based off soviet flags for stuff I’ve created.

i’m pretty sure they’re in the process of scrubbing it from roblox because the soviets have done things comparable to the nazis (or worse in some cases) so treating them both as banned symbols makes a lot of sense.

Nations like the Confederacy (bad) have been banned for years but some of the most evil regimes on the planet that committed genocides and massacres are allowed.

I am hoping to get a clarification from roblox themselves as I have dozens of soviet-related assets and I don’t wanna risk getting my account banned because I can’t archive clothing from last time I checked, I think the roblox spetsnaz hat still has the hammer and sickle texture

the USSR is allowed on the platform because they’re seen as the “good guys” for defeating the nazis when both are horrid

I looked up soviet flag UGC assets and apparently a ton are content deleted, I think roblox is now starting to purge them, a few assets still remain up

So what do I do at this point? I have dozens of Soviet-related flag assets like decals/shirts for flag related games/groups of mine, so I just wait for roblox to ban me for these? or is there some archive option for the clothing?

I’m pretty sure they’re allowed in some ways, but roblox started slowly removing things like the hammer and sickle symbols somewhere around 2 years ago.

I think it’s for the good that they’re trying to remove stuff like that off the platform, because of the bad things the soviets did.

If i ever owned a war-based game, and was trying to include a country like the USSR inside of it, i would try to make something as close as possible to it, but not fully the same, i would try to “robloxize” it.

For an example, if i had to include a country like the Nazi Germany, i would change the name of it, and make a new flag for it (not including a swastika of course).

TL;DR : Making it more roblox-friendly will do the job better :cool:

For the USSR, make it like the Federative Russian States, drop the symbols, keep the uniforms and language but leave the ideology.

I checked more and yeah, a ton of UGC items like hats, clothing, and other UGC items involving the USSR or the flag of the USSR have been removed, on 1 item was still around and it’s a offsale USSR flag that goes on the back of your avatar that I believe was uploaded as a test item by it’s creator.
