Asset Manager Phased Rollout

I dug into it a bit more, and you’re right. I am more than excited to hear that the normal explorer isn’t being removed and replaced.

Ah yes,

To clarify we are not removing Explorer, instead Asset Manager will be replacing Game Explorer. This will allow us to more easily make improvements down the line as well for asset management in studio. Any feedback will be appreciated as we will consider it for future plans

Do any functions come with it, such as getting all of a game’s assets or preloading the asset manager’s assets in some way?

No replies to this so I’ll just bump it. One of my development tasks relies solely on importing a lot of images (between 100 and 2000 usually) and then identifying them in studio, to be arranged with a command bar script. There’s absolutely no way to do this currently, without external tools. If I go via external routes, like Tarmac, then I have to go through all sorts of awkward curves, and I have not gotten that to actually work yet. For example, all the image names will get filtered because they’re pretty much just numeric IDs. Then I have no way to identify them anymore ingame.
Because Asset Manager shows unfiltered image names, I can get around this. But then I run into the issue of not having bulk insert.

TL;DR: I very much need this feature. Please add it.
