By utilising this guide, you will gain a better knowledge of what we deem abusive & how to use your admin commands safely. Information & Commands
Once you become a middle rank or higher at Atlas, you will unlock admin commands to help do your job. These commands can be abused, please keep note that we will do our best to restrict abuse - we just need to ensure everyone knows what abuse is deemed as, and how to prevent common mistakes that can land you with a bad reputation. It is your responsibility to learn these rules, and common sense should be used.
[ANNOUNCEMENTS] You should refrain on using the announcement commands often: it ruins the experience and can become unnecessary. We will always allow users to use the hint command for announcing certain changes, congratulating promotions, etc. As long as there is a reasonable announcement, and full grammar is used - you should be alright. Please refrain from using the main message command, it blocks the view of everyone - it should only be used in emergency situations, or when you have gotten written approval from an SHR.
[TELEPORT] You should also refrain from using the teleport commands often, they should only be used with a good reason such as handling a spammer or troller. Do not use them repeatedly & always add a reason. Teleporting to your friend to party is not reasonable.
[KICK/BAN] Use these commands in a valid situation - you must always provide a reason as these commands are visible to the acting user.
Other Notes
When using your commands, please ensure to use at least 4 characters of a suspect’s username. This is vital, as you could find someone named AllAtlasCool who is spamming. They would need to be kicked, and you may run kick All Spam - this is a big nono. You may have not noticed, but putting all will result in everyone being affected - which is being kicked in this situation. Adding on, you may accidentally remove other users instead of the actual target. If this rule is failed to be followed, we may suspend you for a short period of time as a reminder.
