It seems to be fixed.
still getting reports of this happening, but they are a lot more rare
Just found out the error can still occur if you open a studio test server with multiple test player clients and then exit out of one of the test clients. The rest of the test clients would experience the sound error again.
Having two test clients open:
Leaving one of the clients and then playing sounds on the other:
Replicated consistently every time so it shouldn’t be difficult to reproduce.
Enabled a flag to make sound recover from this failure. If this works, those files will be restored the next time it is required.
This is STILL a problem, @Reshiram110 and I can’t tell you how tedious this is. When will this even be fixed, or even considered?
Can confirm, audio will randomly break for sounds midgame.
The debug error doesn’t always show in the console.
