AutoRecovery Created but Cant be found (or auto deleted?)

My studio was bugging and couldn’t save anything or access the internet suddenly (although my internet was never disrupted), So I closed roblox studio without saving and reopened the file and found all my work gone. I then went to my auto recovery folder and found nothing there, even though it said AutoRecovery Created before I closed roblox studio.

Did the recovery files get auto-deleted? How do I restore auto recovery?

As you can see, none of the auto-recovery files were created today, what happened?

Have you tried to see if any of your other folders may have auto recover locations? Mine moved to Documents a while back and have been saving there. Try searching through other directories.

Nope, I searched through all my computer files and couldn’t find anything, but that doesn’t matter now because i rewrote everything I wrote today. :tired_face: :tired_face: :tired_face: Thanks for the help tho

Make sure your auto recovery is working ASAP! You don’t want to rewrite for a third time, right?

Roblox in their ultimate genius decided to have autosaved DELETE THEMSELVES when you close studio.

If you have OneDrive, you can recover files with it. Just open OneDrive trash can and there will be your file, to get it back right click on it and there will be recover button(Only works with recently deleted file)

Just lost soo much work due to this bug. Game said failed to save data model then i went to close the game and open the auto recovery file and it deleted before my eyes :frowning: 12 hours gone.
