• the modifier gui has returned!

note: there hasn’t been many official update logs as of late, so the version has incremented from v0.7 to v0.10

additions

• crates are here! unlock accessories, the brand-new powerups, and more! they are located in the shop, and they are fit with a super-cool opening animation!

• limited crates + items! unlock limited items

• powerups! powerups range from simply resizing your plate to summoning a tsunami!

• the menu was completely renewed (to the point where it could be considered an addition!). the shop has been added, to buy featured items, crates, credits and gems, and more! the inventory is to access all of your items, and sort/filter them! settings are for adjusting to your preferred playstyle, and a few new settings have been added, plus a button to reset to the default settings! finally, the profile window is for looking at your stats such as playtime, longest round, current and longest streak, and more!

• brand new top bar which appears while a game is running! it shows the current game’s stats such as the amount of time it has been running, and how many players are remaining!

• new confirmation system for purchases, choices, etc!

• new UI that shows when you have KO’d someone!

• new UI that shows when you have died

• 4 new amazing trails utilizing the new trail system

improvements

• the lobby has been revamped completely (again!) to be a lot more user-friendly! in the future, there will be more activities to partake in while in the lobby.

• voting screen has been changed completely! now modes are voted for first, and then maps, rather than simultaneously

• difficulty display in the beginning of a game has been changed drastically

• summary at the end of the game has been changed drastically

• ‘time survived’ reward is changed by the amount of players, the difficulty, and several other metrics rather than the previous arbitrary methods.

• rewards can now only be earned if the number of players is above a certain threshold

• the game will now count the amount of events and they will be displayed on the summary

• big statues now show the top 3 winning players of the previous game

• new and improved satisfying animations for UI

• nametags / nameplates have been improved greatly, and the health bar will automatically hide itself in the lobby to reduce screen clutter!

• some events which affect the arena have been updated to be more precise (the arena bounds will be considered the bounds of all the plates). the static arena bounds will remain for some other things that require it to be unchanged

• most of the game’s code has been modernized and improved greatly to improve performance and to make it easier for new updates to arrive

• lootboxes from the lootbox event are now touch-based (players will now have to touch it instead of clicking on it)

• trails have been improved greatly!

• black hole from black hole event now grows when it consumes parts! the bigger it gets, the faster it pulls parts in

• icon / thumbnail improvements

new maps

• classic - heights
  inspired by SFoTH, experience the events on the treacherous heights!

• classic - volcano
  plates surround a dangerous volcano which will erupt violently whenever it so chooses

• classic - underwater
  players and plates are spawned underwater and must swim around the arena to survive!

• classic - wipeout
  players must avoid the spinning laser in the center of the arena, which increases in speed as time goes on (speed increase depends on difficulty!)

• classic - tower
  plates are basically stacked upon each other

• baseplate - happy home
  baseplate but with a happy little home

• baseplate - moon
  the baseplate becomes the moon! it spins and events can happen on either side of the moon. gravity is also decreased

new events

• solar flare
  a huge solar flare appears and randomly shoots at plates with explosive solar power which damage players significantly

• pirate ship
  a pirate ship circles around the arena and shoots at unsuspecting plates. careful!

72 events + 4 modifiers + 2 maps are planned for a future content update… stay tuned!

  explodes on contact with humanoids (zombies, aliens, etc)

  shoots mini meteors

  the moon falls from the sky

  mini meteors fall from the sky for 60 seconds

• rockets
  rockets attack the arena from many directions for 60 seconds

• golden toilet
  acts similarly to the volcano, but it shoots out tix (which convert to credits)

• pirates
  a pirate ship circles the arena, shooting powerful cannonballs

• earthquake
  all plates shake

• plate shake
  one plate shakes

• portal
  two plates recieve a portal which teleport players between both portals

• thunderstorm
  a storm looms over the arena. plates are randomly chosen to get struck by lightning every few seconds

• error
  “oneFlop” has been changed to “error”. a player flops over, and errors pop up on their screen

• stink
  a player becomes stinky, and they damage nearby players

• trap
  a bear trap appears on a plate. when a humanoid comes in contact with it, it damages then traps it for about a minute before letting go and allowing another humanoid to get trapped

• tporb
  new gear that allows players to teleport to any place in the arena

• nuke
  a huge nuke sets target on a plate and very slowly descends until it explodes

• lava tsunami
  like a tsunami, but it deals more damage and sets you on fire

• healing plate
  every 2 seconds, it heals every player standing on this plate

• player resize
  removed titan event, turned it into player resize which randomly resizes player

• resized players
  every player is randomly sized

• apocolypse
  a zombie appears on every plate. they will not attack players but players will be damaged if they come in contact

• minefield
  every plate starts with a landmine

  only one player will do the flop (variant of theFlop)

• lego
  legos spawn on a plate. stepping will trip the player and hurt them excruciatingly

• ufoAbduct
  a ufo abducts anything on a plate (but not the plate itself), including players

• ufoCrash
  a ufo crashes, spawning 1-4 aliens

• grave
  a grave will pop up and spawn zombies every 20-40 seconds indefinitely (until it is destroyed or the plate is destroyed/normalized)

• tilt
  a plate tilts in a random direction

• disco
  a plate will become a disco. stepping on it will make the player dance and slow them down

• freeze
  a player will be frozen in a block of ice. they can still be pushed around

• fire
  a plate will be set on fire. if a player touches it, they will be set on fire.

• lootbox
  a lootbox will fall from the sky. tapping it will award the player with a tool, and rarely, an explosive surprise…

• lootboxRain
  lootboxes will rain randomly around the arena.
