Senior Cashier Promotion Guide
If you are interested in achieving an even higher rank and becoming a part of Aviesa’s MR team, you have come to the right place! The next big step in your journey is attaining the Staff Assistant position here at Aviesa. We look for only the most dedicated and committed Senior Cashiers to represent us. If you are up for it, here is a guide which will give you some idea on what to do as a Senior Cashier!
COMMITMENT
It is important that Senior Cashiers show their dedication to Aviesa. This should be shown through hard work and showing that they are capable of representing Aviesa. It is recommended for Senior Cashiers to spend majority of their time behind the counter while at the café and to stay professional doing so. It is much more likely to be noticed by going to the café each day for a shorter amount of time than staying at the café for a long period of time for just one day.
INITIATIVE
It is very important for our Senior Cashiers to be able to take initiative. Senior Cashiers should be able to work well with the people around them. If you see someone struggling or in need of help, you should take initiative and help them out. If any customers are confused, you should be willing to answer any questions and you should also be able to handle trollers in a mature and professional way.
RESPECT
Senior Cashiers should be giving respect to any rank, below or above them. Being disrespectful towards anyone in any way will lower your chances completely of achieving a higher rank and may even lead to a demotion.
HINTING
Hinting is one of the worst ways to attempt being promoted. Seeking attention to be noticed, asking questions related to being promoted, acting like an MR /HR, or even making friends recommend you can all be considered hinting. It is not limited to just those, so please know that you will be noticed for your hard work at the café and your maturity and professionalism.
These are just some tips on things to follow to get close to a promotion, but it does not include everything. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns related to any of this, you are more than welcome to contact any High Rank.
